We are only a few weeks away from one of the most entertaining and educational maker events of the year, the 2023 Maker Camp.
The final event of the 2023 Catskill Mountain Maker Camp series is taking place from October 6th through the 9th and is your chance to connect with makers from around the country. The last “Hurrah” of the Maker Camp season, this event is for everybody from hobbyists to hard core content creators and craftspeople.

What is the Maker Camp?
The Catskill Mountain Maker Camp is a gathering of curious, creative people who like to learn and share what they can do. It is a place where creators can show their work, learn new skills/techniques, and meet like-minded makers. It encompasses a gathering of artisans, educators, do-it-yourselfers, hobbyists, engineers, writers, artists, students and commercial exhibitors to show what they do and to share what they offer to the community. With events taking place throughout the year, you are sure to find one that you love.

And you better believe that the Maker Camp is a hands-on experience. This year, you’ll be able to get your hands dirty learning things like pewter casting, stone cutting, sewing, and, of course, blacksmithing.
Who will we see at the Maker Camp?
The Maker Camp lineup is loaded with the biggest names in the maker industry. You’ll see demonstrations from the likes of Shaper tools, Bumblechutes, and Magswitch. Of course, probably the biggest highlight of the event will be a canister Damascus demonstration by the one and only J. Nielson. Presented by Brodbeck Ironworks, J. world-renowned master smith and legendary Forged in Fire judge. Don’t miss this chance to watch the master at work! While you are at it, you can also connect with the Evenheat team under the Brodbeck tent.
