BREAKING NEWS: Last Blade Standing Season 4 has been Cancelled
Shocking news out of Jacksonville today as we’ve received word that Last Blade Standing has been cancelled. This comes just days before the challenge parameters for the much anticipated fourth season were due to be officially revealed. BRUTE de FORGE has reached out to the team at Last Blade Standing for comment. According to creator Matthew “Doc” Martin, we can expect an official statement in the coming days.

Anyone visiting the official Last Blade Standing website will currently be greeted by a rather cryptic message that doesn’t bode well for the bladesmithing competition. As you can see from the screengrab below, the LBS site has been reduced to a single statement: “It’s Dead, Jim. You guys killed it”. Additionally, the LBS Facebook group has been paused and the official Facebook account appears to have been deleted. The LBS X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram accounts appear to still be operational as of this post.
Is this the end of Last Blade Standing?
We sure hope this isn’t the end. Doc and the rest of the team at LBS have worked hard to build an entertaining event that provides opportunities for bladesmiths of all skill levels to grow their skills and their social media reach at the same time.
More on this breaking story as it develops. Stay tuned.
